Founder
Kathleen Krivak is a licensed acupuncturist, energy healer and shamanic practitioner with 20 years of experience. Kathleen earned her Master’s degree with honors at the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (now Maryland University of Integrated Health) in 1994. Thereafter, Kathleen worked as a teacher and clinical supervisor at the school’s student clinic. She also supervised acupuncture students as well as treated patients with HIV and AIDS at the Sign of Jonah Clinic in Washington, DC.
Continuing to deepen her healing techniques, Kathleen studied shamanism with Eliot Cowan and Tom Cowan, learning to heal with plant spirits and the spirits of the Celtic Isles. She also studied channeled healing in Jonathan Goldman’s three year Healer’s Path program and mentored for three years with energy healer, the Reverend Sue Greer.
Kathleen also loves to practice yoga and over the years has explored Iyengar, Vinassaya, and Swaroopa styles of yogic practice.
Committed to spiritual practice, Kathleen has studied several different traditions of Buddhist meditation for 26 years, and has been influenced by teachers such as Tenzin Wangal Rinpoche, Sharon Salzberg, and Tara Brach.
She is a gifted healer of great compassion who is highly respected by both her colleagues and clients.
Kirsten Allen graduated with honors from Wellesley College and received her Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (now Maryland University of Integrated Health) in 2001. She carries National Board Certification in Acupuncture from the NCCAOM and is licensed by the Board of Medicine in MA.
Kirsten has been in private practice for the last thirteen years, studying with some of the most respected teachers in the field of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, including Jeffrey Yuen, Dr. Richard Tan, Kiiko Matsumoto and most recently completing Lonny Jarrett’s two year advanced clinical class on the Inner Traditions of Chinese Medicine.
Kirsten has been a practitioner of several styles of Qi Gong and Tai Qi Quan for 15 years, a Tibetan Buddhist meditation practitioner, and a practitioner of Iyengar Yoga.
She also holds a deep love and appreciation for music and literature from her past teaching and performance background that continues to be a creative source informing her healing work.
Kirsten effortlessly weaves together these strands of
experience and training to bring inspiration and enthusiasm to
the process of healing and personal evolution.

Emilie Gerber-Kunicka DAIH, M.Ac Lic. LicAc.
Dr. Emilie Gerber-Kunicka is a licensed acupuncturist, resident of Needham, mom of 4, and avid skier.
She received her Master’s degree from the New England School of Acupuncture in 2017 and her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Integrative Health from MCPHS University in 2020. She has practiced at Boston Medical Center in Family Medicine for nearly 5 years and serves as an Adjunct Faculty at MCPHS University.
Emilie utilizes a wide array of acupuncture styles which are tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient. She has trained in Traditional Chinese medicine, Japanese, and orthopedic styles but also utilizes, Dr. Tan and even non-insertive techniques (no needles!). She listens deeply to each patient and treats each condition with a holistic approach.
Emilie believes in self cultivation as a means for personal growth and spiritual evolution. She works to incorporate this mindset and personal experience in her healing practice to support her patients in all spectrums of their physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
Emilie brings expertise in treating musculoskeletal pain conditions such as back pain, neck pain, joint pain, radiculopathy, sciatica, frozen shoulder/rotator cuff, knee pain, muscle strain, tendonitis, carpal tunnel, and more.

Michelle Masse LMT

Dawn Ellis, LICSW
Michelle Masse is a light worker and massage therapist. She passed the MBLEX exam after receiving massage training at the Salter School. She continued her education with training in multiple techniques including shamanic healing, energy healing, Integrated Energy Therapy, oncology massage and Cranial Sacral Therapy. Michelle uses these techniques to help clients clear blocks, find balance, relax the body and quiet the mind.

ANNE GRIER RN, FNLP, RWP
Dawn received her first Reiki certifications in 2005 and was recently certified as a Reiki Master. While working as a clinical social worker at Tufts Hospital, she provided Reiki to oncology patients, transplants patients and pregnant women on bedrest.
Dawn’s social work career has included work in oncology, domestic violence, sexual assault, hospice, fertility and for the past 11 years she has been a facilitator of pregnancy and early parenting support groups. In an effort to explore her own spiritual growth she became ordained as an interfaith minister in 2007. She is a trauma informed practitioner and is dedicated to creating a safe container for her clients to relax, heal and explore.

Anne joins Blue Lotus Healing Arts with a passion for helping clients heal and thrive. In 2012, she began working as a children’s sleep consultant, helping new mothers establish healthy sleep patterns for their babies. She noticed that long after their kids were out of the crib, moms had their own sleep issues and other health problems like brain fog, headaches, fatigue, weight gain, and digestive difficulties.
Anne looks for the root causes of a range of symptoms, including poor digestion, sleep issues, low energy, hormone imbalance, headaches, mood swings, weight loss resistance, autoimmune conditions, skin sensitivities or issues, menses and menopausal symptoms, anxiety and depression, and more. She explores nutrition, lifestyle, and environment, and creates a plan building on each client’s individualized personal strengths to help them regain their health and encourage lasting change.
