Anne, our Functional Nutritionist, helps bridge the gap from where you are to where you want to be. She will listen to you and offer support, accountability, collaboration, education, and resources to help you feel like yourself again, regain your health, and achieve your life goals.

A Functional Nutritionist looks at symptoms through a functional lens, which means through bio-individualility and at your body as a whole system. Symptoms are clues and messages from your body but they cannot be addressed in isolation.
​
Anne used to struggle with her own health and digestive issues, which inspired her to heal and help others do the same. She tried nearly everything so that you don’t have to learn the hard way. Anne took parts from other practitioners, courses, cleanses, detoxes, and diets, as well as her own experience to heal her gut. Her digestion is not perfect yet, but it is vastly improved, and she discovered her specific needs for her body at this phase of her life. She aims to help her clients do the same, tailoring a diet and lifestyle that works for their individual needs.
Nobody needs to struggle through extensive experimentation. While there is no quick fix--some trial and error is necessary--Anne’s years of struggle and determination now give her the experience to help others heal faster and more efficiently. She would love to guide you through the gut healing process and help you understand which foods work for you so that you feel great in your body and skin again!

Nutrition & Health Coaching Journey
Discovery Session + 3 Follow Up Sessions*
Your journey begins with a discovery session (75-90min) where your nutrition & health coach, Anne, will assess your body type, surrounding environment and lifestyle to examine how they are connected. Together you'll investigate the root cause of a large range of symptoms including poor digestion, poor sleep, low energy, headaches, anxiety/depression, mood swings, weight loss resistance, autoimmune conditions, dull skin, etc. Anne will help educate you through the investigation process and will provide positive psychology and empowerment as you discuss a plan building on your individualized personal strengths to regain health.

Your follow up sessions (45min) are about support and accountability. Accountability helps you to stay engaged and measure your success and progress. Together you will check-in with the goals and plans made during the discovery session. Anne reviews any logs or journals that she has asked you to keep and adjustments to the plan can be made as needed. These sessions are important because with someone to be accountable to you can silence your inner critic and bounce your ideas off someone who can help you make sound decisions and give you constructive advice. In your last session you'll review and celebrate your progress as well as to make plans to continue these new habits moving forward!
