Functional Nutrition

Laura Viale, CFNC is a Functional Nutrition Counselor and an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Coach. specializing in women's health. She has been in love with all things wellness since starting Massage Therapy school in 2001. She has studied various forms of Massage Therapy, Ayurveda, Functional Nutrition, and more recently, specialized functional tests that enhance her work in balancing the body. 

 

On a personal level, she's been especially curious about the power of food and how it impacts our health for better or worse for decades. As a mother of very young

children in her early 40s, Laura was dealing with symptoms like anxiety, digestive issues, insomnia, and acne. By then she had a deep understanding of the innate power of the body to come to balance when we understand what the body is asking for. But she also learned every woman’s body needs a unique approach - and this is what set her on her journey to bring herself to balance and teach other women to do the same. 

 

Between her extensive training and vast experience both professionally and personally, Laura created a set of natural and effective strategies that, when implemented with the individual in mind, have profound and positive effects on the internal environment of our bodies, allowing it to come to balance and our symptoms to fade.

 

Now, she works with individuals experiencing symptoms like fatigue, digestive issues, anxiety, brain fog, heavy periods, hot flashes, mood swings, weight gain, insomnia, night sweats, skin infammation, general inflammation, etc. Her passion is to blend the science of Functional Nutrition with the wisdom of Ayurveda to help her clients tune in to their intuition, honor their bodies and minds, and bring their body to balance so they can get back to living happy, active lives doing what they love.

Initial Nutrition Session

This initial session with Laura is all about analyzing your full health history, your Ayurvedic profile, your 5-Day Food Journal, and your most recent bloodwork. Together, you and she will investigate the root cause(s) of your most disruptive symptoms. You will leave with a clear direction and customized plan that meets you where you are at and feels right for your body and your life.

Please opt-in to all emails to ensure you receive this important link. The intake forms must be submitted at least 2 business days prior to your appointment. Follow Up Sessions

Your follow-up sessions are about support and accountability. Accountability helps you to stay engaged and measure your success and progress. Together you will check in with the goals and plans made during the Initial session. Laura reviews any logs or journals that she has asked you to keep and adjustments to the plan can be made as needed. These sessions are important because with someone to be accountable to you can silence your inner critic and bounce your ideas off someone who can help you make sound decisions and give you constructive advice.
