Sara Lambert, LMT; RPP; Reiki I & II; Certified Herbalist
Sara is an integrative massage therapist whose inspiration draws upon her desire to support and individual’s capacity to wake up to their innate connection to themselves and nature. The intention of an integrative massage session is to facilitate a unique experience of deep transformative relaxation with the therapeutic release of restrictions caused by the unprocessed body memories of repetitive stress and tension that have solidified as patterns of structural dysfunction in the musculoskeletal system of the body. This is achieved by interdependent pressures and rhythms of both deep and light touch that may be complemented by assisted stretching and gentle movement of the joints.
A holistic perspective that combines traditional and folk philosophies/techniques of eastern, western, and indigenous cultures with modern scientific research. Her training in Swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular, kinesiology/sport, hydro-thermal therapy, Aromatherapy, Polarity therapy, Reiki, Energetic Herbalism, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, and her study of animistic belief systems, yogic philosophy, and esoteric wisdom traditions during the last 8 + years of licensed massage practice, intuitively synergize to aid in the individual’s self-integration process of harmonizing the inner with the outer aspects of the whole being.
When inner balance is regulated and maintained, over time the body’s stress response becomes more resilient against outside triggers. This could range from unavoidable daily hassles to experiences of intense, excessive, or traumatic stress. All walks of life both young and old from athletes to expecting mothers, to first responders or veterans, can benefit from Sara’s person-centered approach to integrative massage therapy.
