Rooted in the timeless science of Ayurveda, Marma Chikitsa (Marma Therapy) is a sacred healing art that awakens the body’s innate intelligence. Marma points are various points on the body where the subtle life energy becomes matter, where thoughts transfer into the physical. Marma points link to the subtle channels called nadis. Gentle pressure on the Marma points release blocks and allows prana (life energy) to flow to the connecting organ or tissue. It is potentially the most restorative of the Ayurvedic treatments. These points help regulate the flow of prana (life force), bringing balance and harmony to the entire system.

What does a session look like?
You will rest fully clothed on a massage table while the practitioner uses light touch and gentle pressure on specific Marma points across the body. The session is deeply relaxing, allowing the energy to flow freely and the body to enter a natural state of healing. Sessions are conducted between sunrise and sundown to maximize healing with the sun. Comfortable clothing (no metal or leather) is recommended.
Each session includes time for discussion and reflection to understand your experience and any recommendations for self-care following the treatment.
